This long silk scarf measures approx. 45cm x 180cm (18″ x 72″) and has prerolled edges.
It was painted using professional French silk dyes and the patterning was created using effect salts. Once completed the fabric was rolled up for its 3 hour steam bath to fix the dyes in the silk.
Please give your silk scarf lots of TLC by washing it gently by hand in warm water with a touch of shampoo. Rinse until clear and then roll up in a towel to absorb most of the moisture. Then iron from the reverse with a very clean iron on a medium to hot setting.
